Projects

A number of exciting developments are currently taking place in the Northern Inland relating to sustainable business practices. We will be highlighting a number of these projects on the NISBN website to allow for the sharing of information, resources and promotional opportunities.

If you have a project that you would like to publicise please contact the NISBN Steering Committee.

Aq-quip Field Day 2010

NISBN are partnering with Rural Press, co-ordinators of the Ag-quip Field Days, NSW Department of Environment, Climate Change and Water (DECCW) and Sustainable Event Management Solutions (SEMS) in preparing a sustainability audit of the 2009/10 Ag-quip event.

Regenesis

Regenesis is a joint initiative of Sister Cities, Liverpool Plains Shire Council and the Blacktown City Council. The partnership has been made possible with a $2 million NSW Enviromental Trust grant. The project will allow for large tracts of public and privately owned land to be utilised for biodiversity plantings and carbon storage.
